Waste To Energy Pte Ltd (W2E) is a developer of biogas plants.  We Design-Build-Own & Operate contracts to convert waste water or organic solid waste (e.g cassava, palm oil mill effluent, municipal solid waste  for the production of renewal energy. This includes funding and carbon development services .

The company brings over 20 years in waste treatment and advance environmental process to  ASEAN.  The company is building Cambodia’s first Biogas Plant and are finalizing projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Vietnam and India.  The company maintains its operations control centre in Singapore.  This centre handles global procurement, training, IT support and human resources.

The positions will be based in a number of countries and candidates willing to travel will be given preference.  Extensive training will be provided to bring candidates up to speed with the processes and their intricacies.

For ALL positions, candidates will be expected to possess computer skills (Outlook, Explorer, Word, Excel and Project). Written English is a must.

 For positions (A)

Good command of English (both spoken & written) is a must

Any other language skills are an advantage –Indonesian, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, Khmer, Malay.

For in-country candidates, ability to translate documents from English to native language and vice versa is an added advantage.

For positions (B)

Mechanical, electrical, environmental or process engineering backgrounds are required.  Any experience in Oil & Gas, Waste Water Treatment, Breweries, CPO Processing, Processing or related fields is well regarded. 



Position Description: Management Trainee

Tasks

  • Handle day to day administrative support for the Country Manager,
  • Manage the contact database,
  • Prepare petty cash records for submission to Head Office on a monthly basis
  • Monthly reports to Head office on budget forecast,
  • Follow up with customers, staff, suppliers, contractors and authorities,
  • Book flights and accommodation,
  • Preliminary Payroll and HR enquiries, Documentation of annual leave, medical leave records for submission,
  • Attend meetings and minute results,
  • Submission of Statutory Documentation,
  • Follow up with W2E department head including development, procurement, IT, accounting, construction and operations,
  • Networking at official events and.
  • General filing and support.

Position Description: Project Development Analyst

Tasks

  • Assist Chief of Development and Country Managers to compile project information,
  • Prepare Business Models and Financial Analyses,
  • Draft Business Plans,
  • Present Project information to potential Project stakeholders,
  • Assist Chief of Development and Country Managers to negotiate with Project stakeholders,
  • Maintain and control Project Documentation Library,
  • Maintain relationships with Strategic Partners and suppliers,
  • Follow up with Department Head including development, procurement, IT, accounting, construction and operations and
  • General Filing and support

Position Description: In Country Manager

Tasks

  1. Handle day to day development of W2E’s Business in-country,
  2. Manage the contact database,
  3. Identify potential leads,
  4. Prepare proposals, business plans, financial models and material essential to secure projects
  5. Follows up with suppliers, contractors and authorities
  6. Preliminary Payroll and HR enquiries,
  7. Attend meetings and minute the results,
  8. Submission of in country compliance,
  9. Follow up with the department head including development m procurement, IT accounting, construction and operations,
  10. Regular reports to the CEO on the progress,
  11. Manage in country staff and
  12. General filing and support

Position Description: Project Manager

Tasks

  • Prepare initial Business Plan
  • Manage staff and resources working on the project,
  • Liaise with relevant Authorities on finance grants and other incentives
  • Follow up with suppliers, lawyers, contractors and authorities,
  • Implement Project Quality Plan (PQP),
  • Attend meetings and minute results, and
  • Represent the Company on a day to day basis for project related meetings.

Position Description: Accounts Assistant

Tasks

  • Data Management for accounts.
  • Accounting  Software MYOB knowledge preferred.
  • Perform Journal Entries (Data Entry)
  • Knowledge in multi currency accounting will be advantageous
  • Prepare monthly reports for submission for management meetings.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation

Requirements

  • Full / part time
  • LCCI/GCE “O” or “A” Level/ITE (Cert in Business Studies in Accounting)
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • Able to start immediate or with short notice period
  • Meticulous and willing to learn
  • Proficient in MS Word / Excel

Position Description: Draftsmen ( only Draftsmen based in Cambodia need apply)

Tasks

  • Experience in  AUTOCAD is a must

Position Description: Project Engineer

Tasks

  • Assist Chief of Development and country managers to compile technical information,
  • Work with Waste Solutions in sampling, testing, documentation, implementation and commissioning of facilities,
  • Draft project Quality plan and implement project documentation,
  • Present project technical information to potential project stakeholders,
  • Assist Chief of Development and country manager to negotiate with project stakeholders,
  • Maintain and control technical documentation library,
  • Maintain relationships with strategic partners and suppliers,
  • Follow up with department head including development, procurement, IT, accounting, construction and operations and
  • General filing and support.

**AUTOCAD Skills though not mandatory would be an added advantage.


Position Description: Construction Manager

Tasks

  • Handle day to day of site reporting to Director,
  • Manage site staff and resources,
  • Prepare daily site reports,
  • Follow up with suppliers, contractors and authorities,
  • Implement Project Quality Plan (PQP),
  • Attend meetings and minute results,
  • Review all project submissions, variations requests, site memo, RFI’s, NCRS and any other project documentation,
  • Follow up with consultants, client customers and the client and
  • Represent the Company on a day to day basis on site.

Position Description: Mechanical, Process, Environmental and Electrical Engineers

Tasks

W2E is seeking to increase our team of engineers implementing projects on site.  Mechanical, electrical, environmental or process engineering backgrounds are required.  Any experience in Oil & Gas, Waste Water Treatment, Breweries, CPO Processing, Processing or related fields is well regarded.
